Newsletter #2 - 2nd Mar 2005

Hi, and welcome to the second Orpheus newsletter.

You're receiving this because you previous registered an interest in my new ISP service.

It's been a couple of weeks since the last newsletter so I thought I'd drop you a quick note to say that we're still busy beavering away behind the scenes.
I hadn't realised quite how long sorting out the various company paperwork takes, mainly because a lot of the form-filling relies on posting things via 'snail mail' and waiting for a reply. However, as the technical side of things is coming along very nicely, once I've received all the paperwork, we should be ready to sign you up within a few days.

I'm also currently organising setting up new telephone help numbers and the good news is that it looks like it won't be quite as complex to make Voyager compatible with the new dial platform as I previously thought. I'm consulting with the original author of !Voyager on this, but final testing will be carried out in conjunction with testing the new dialup system.

I'm also pleased to say that the level of initial interest has exceeded my predictions and I'm happy to say that in response to the percentage of letters Freedom2 posted out, I've now received over 100% feedback via the form on my website - I'm guessing the reason it's over 100% is that obviously other subscribers (and some new faces) have registered through hearing from friends and subscribers who did receive letters. This is very positive and amounts to a few hundred customers so far.

Also, I'd like to reassure people that Argonet email addresses will not stop working for the immediate future, so don't worry about being 'disconnected' whilst we transfer you to the new service.
